Parking

Upon entering the preferred parking lot (Visitor 3 Public Parking), you will be provided with a time-stamped parking ticket. If "Lot Full" sign is posted at this lot, you have the option of finding a metered space in the immediate vicinity (there are 5 metered spots on Ferst Drive across from the Campus Recreation Center – 2 hour limit, 15 minutes = .25, 6 minutes = .10, 3 minutes = .05 ‐‐ bring change) or proceeding to the further State Street deck.

After Parking

From the parking area, it may be difficult to see the ISyE Main Entrance Building given the state of construction. We suggest referring to the ISyE/SCL parking map to familiarize yourself on how to get to the ISyE Main Building entrance after parking (either by walking on Ferst Drive OR exiting your vehicle towards the interior of campus behind the student center deck and to the right of the construction area). The main ISyE entrance is located across Ferst Drive from the Campus Recreation Center (CRC). The ISyE receptionist's desk is located on the right, inside the main entrance.

ISyE Groseclose

Groseclose Building

The Groseclose Building is home to the majority of ISyE faculty and staff. The building derives its name from the inaugural department head of ISyE, serving as head for 20 years from 1946-1966. Under Groseclose’s tenure, ISyE grew from a brand-new program to one of the nation’s best. The building consists of four floors that house faculty, staff, student labs, and additional meeting areas and conference rooms.

You will find the SCL suite on the second floor of Groseclose. After you enter the front door of the Groseclose Building, go left down a long hall, through a set of glass doors and then look for our suite door on your left. If you reach a bridge to another building, you have gone too far.

ISyE Main

ISyE’s newest building is home to a majority of its graduate students and a number of research laboratories. Among those laboratories is the Physical Internet Center, a concept initiated by ISyE Professor Benoit Montreuil in 2006. The Physical Internet Initiative aims at transforming the way physical objects are moved, stored, realized, supplied and used, pursuing global logistics efficiency and sustainability. The visually stunning space is home to a large video wall capable of displaying many distinct sources, two 84-inch interactive SMART Boards, and a control system that provides access to the Lab’s lighting, shades, and content. The lab provides a physical collaborative environment to foster the Center’s groundbreaking research. Also housed in ISyE Main are the School Chair and Development groups, located on the second floor as you enter the front building.
