With a diverse group of participating faculty, some of whom are chaired professors and members of the National Academy of Engineering, SCL continues a traditional emphasis on practice-focused education and research facilitated by a high level of industry collaboration. The numerous affiliated research centers address a wide spectrum of topics including: fulfillment, transportation, humanitarian and healthcare logistics, sustainability, next generation operating models, resource optimization, revenue optimization, robotics, artificial intelligence applications, space logistics, MRO management, and complex network optimization.
Providing life-long learning opportunities is a key component of SCL. Programs include: support of Summer Camps and High School programs; bachelor’s, master's and PhD programs in Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Engineering; and Professional Education programs for experienced professionals. Professional Education programs are offered in both private sessions as well as public sessions and are offered in both synchronous and asynchronous formats.
To support our global partners, we have our Panama Logistics Innovation & Research Center and an ongoing relationship with The Logistics Institute – Asia Pacific, which we established in Singapore more than twenty five years ago. We also leverage the relationships and infrastructure associated with Georgia Tech Europe and have significant partnerships with universities and industry throughout the world.
