Pinar Keskinocak Featured in AJC Columns about COVID-19 Outbreak

The spread of COVID-19 over the past few months has shaken the day-to-day lives of people around the world. As hospitals are overloaded with patients and troubled by limited medical supplies, and governments have resorted to shelter-in-place and social distancing orders to curb the spread of COVID-19, researchers have weighed in on the importance of these measures. ISyE William W. George Chair, Co-Founder and Director of Georgia Tech’s Center for Health and Humanitarian Systems (CHHS),shares her recommendations for social distancing and the strains many health systems have been facing amidst the outbreak. Dr. Keskinocak details how social distancing can help reduce the spread of the virus and allow us to return to our normal daily lives much faster.
