LeanCor is extending the Lean Supply Chain Certificate program to the new Georgia Tech Panama Logistics Innovation & Research Center (GTPLIRC) starting this December. GTPLIRC is the latest addition to the Georgia Tech Supply Chain & Logistics Institute's (SCL) logistics innovation network of centers that focus on improving country-level logistics performance and increasing trade competitiveness.

"Due to the successful validation we've experienced with the Lean Supply Chain Certificate Program, we believe this lean training will be a great resource aligned with the center's strategic goals," said Carole Bennett, Director of Program Development and Marketing at the Georgia Tech SCL. "Building Lean Supply Chain professionals in Panama will increase its logistics performance, enabling Panama to become the trade hub for the Americas."

The program will follow the same format as the existing three-day Lean Supply Chain Certificate Program held in Atlanta, GA over three-month periods. Courses include:

• Lean Supply Chain Problem Solver: November 30 – December 2, 2010
• Lean Supply Chain Professional: January 11-13, 2011
• Lean Supply Chain Leader: March 1-3, 2011
