Led by the Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics Institute, the Georgia Tech LEAP program was created in 2015 by a grant from JPMorgan Chase & Co. toward the firm's global New Skills at Work initiative that promotes workforce development to bridge the gap between the talent employers need and the qualifications of the local talent pipeline.

In 2018, JPMorgan Chase & Co. continued their support of GT LEAP with an additional grant. Additional cohorts have been supported by generous donations from schools, civic organizations including Latin American Association, foundations including Home Depot and Schneider, and employers including Goodwill and many others.

More than 1000 students have completed more than 1500 courses!  Georgia Tech LEAP is now accepting student applications for cohorts for students to take an online course and receive career-development support and participate in a career fair. Students who complete each course receive an industry-recognized certificate for the selected area(s).

"The road to economic opportunity and prosperity begins with great preparation and we want to help our youth be ready to compete and secure jobs that will lead to a strong future."

David Balos, market leader for JPMorgan Chase & Co. and head of commercial banking in the area.

8 Courses Focusing on Logistics & Supply Chain Career Readiness

Eight main areas of instruction are covered, based on input received from supply-chain intensive companies based in Atlanta, including Coca-Cola and UPS.

Our LEAP program utilizes content from our Supply Chain Fundamentals series, allowing students to progress toward certification at their own pace. Alongside the online coursework, students benefit from career coaching, resume guidance, engaging supply chain gaming simulations, and additional career opportunities.
